WWII bomb defused outside Paris

PARIS, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- About 6,000 people were evacuated from a Paris suburb Sunday as a World War II bomb was defused.

The 1,300-foot evacuation zone in Boulogne-Billancourt was the former site of a Renault factory bombed by the Allies in 1942 or 1943, when it was producing motors for the German occupiers, Radio France Internationale reported.
