TORONTO, Dec. 3 (UPI) -- A man was shot and killed by a bolt from a crossbow as he sat on a bench inside the Toronto Pubic Library's Main Street branch, Canadian police said.
Witnesses said they saw a man pepper-spray Si Cheng, 52, then shoot him with a crossbow. Si died at the scene Thursday, CBC News reported.

Zhou Fang, 24, was arrested and was to appear in court in Toronto Friday.
Police said Zhou was seen running from the library. He then allegedly jumped into a U-Haul rental truck and drove off. He was arrested a short time later.
"It's still unclear exactly what sparked this incident," said Constable Tony Vella. "The motivation behind this killing is certainly a major factor here."
