BANNU, Pakistan, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- A suicide bomb attack in a town near Pakistan's tribal region Tuesday killed at least six people and injured a dozen others, police said.
The incident occurred near the police station in the town of Bannu, Pakistan's Geo News reported.

The dead included two police personnel and a child.
Hospital sources told Geo News the suicide bomber blew himself up near a police van.
Police initiated an immediate search of the area and reportedly arrested one suspect.
Bannu is located near Pakistan's lawless tribal region along the border with Afghanistan.
