Bomb halts trains outside Sochi, Russia

MATSESTA, Russia, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- A bomb halted rail services for a time Sunday outside Sochi, the Russian resort city scheduled to host the 2014 Winter Olympics, police said.

The blast occurred late Saturday at a train station on Matsesta, a few miles south of Sochi, damaging a section of track.

No one was injured but police told RIA Novosti that train service was disrupted temporarily. Service was back to normal by daybreak Sunday.

It was not known who planted the device.
