GUANGZHOU, China, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- A Chinese man convicted of murdering 11 people, including three police officers, has been executed in south China's Guangdong province, officials said.
Cheng Ruilong, 37, was found to have murdered 11 people in a string of violence from May 1996 to January 2005, Xinhua reported.
He was executed Tuesday in Foshan City. The Guangdong native was originally convicted of murdering 13 but the court dropped the number of victims because the bodies of a woman and her daughter were never found.
The Supreme People's Court approved Ruilong's execution.
The report did not say how Ruilong was executed.
