TORONTO, July 30 (UPI) -- Police in Toronto said a board, spiked with protruding nails, found at a city beach's off-leash area may have been deliberately placed to harm dogs.
Investigators said the nail-riddled board was found Tuesday buried in the sand at Cherry Beach's off-leash area with the nails pointing up, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported Friday.
Police said they don't believe there were any injuries to people or pets but the find is being classified a "suspicious incident."
