RADISSON, Quebec, July 24 (UPI) -- A float plane crashed near Radisson, Quebec, Saturday, killing two people and injuring three others, police said.
Provincial police said the Beaver-model plane went down shortly after taking off about 11 a.m. from La Grande-Riviere airport, the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. reported.

The network said the pilot, who was flying the four passengers on a fishing expedition, and the two surviving passengers were flown to a Montreal hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash had yet to be determined, the CBC said.
