In eastern Pakistan, the chief minister of Punjab said Saturday that foreigners appeared to have had a hand in recent terror attacks.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif told reporters that the government was on the verge of cracking the Taliban network in his state.

Shahbaz was in Sargodah Saturday to meet with the family of a security guard killed in the recent attack on the religious shrine in Lahore known as Data Darbar, DAWN said.
