ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, May 11 (UPI) -- India's external affairs minister will travel to Pakistan July 15 to resume diplomatic talks between the two countries, Pakistan announced Tuesday.
Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says the discussions will involve a wide range of issues including terrorism and water, Pakistan's GEO TV reports.
They will be carried out by the home ministers and foreign secretaries of the two countries.
Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna told the Press Trust of India he is looking forward to the resumption of talks.
"Let us hope that these talks will help in bringing our countries closer together," Krishna said.
