Quake hits Russia-China-N.Korea border

MOSCOW, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- A 6.7-magnitude earthquake rumbled along the border region of China, Russia and North Korea Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The epicenter was about 69 miles northeast of Congjin, North Korea; 69 miles east-southeast of Yanji, China; 70 miles southwest of Vladivostok, Russia, and 361 northeast of Pyongyang, North Korea's capital, USGS said.

The earthquake had a depth of 562 miles.
