No one was injured, the newspaper reported.

With guns drawn, police arrested mixed martial arts teacher and former UFC fighter Harold Howard and charged him with 11 offenses related to events hours earlier, police Staff Sgt. Shawn Clarkson said.

Police allege Howard, a finalist in the UFC's 1994 match, had earlier assaulted a male and female at a residence. They were hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The suspect then allegedly drove to another residence and smashed into another vehicle before fleeing and leading police on a chase, the newspaper said.

Howard is charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault with a weapon, attempted break and enter, failure to remain, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, mischief and two counts of breach of recognizance, police said.
