Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor
MONTREAL, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Three bodies and a survivor were pulled from the wreckage of a light aircraft Thursday after it crashed in bad weather in south-central Quebec Wednesday night.
The Canadian military received a distress call from the Beechcraft King Air 100 owned by Exact Air around 10:45 p.m., the National Post reported.
The small plane went down in bad weather in a heavily forested area near St. Honore, 140 miles north of Quebec City, officials said.
Canadian military, Quebec provincial police and volunteers scoured the area for hours before finding the wreckage early Thursday. Soldiers were parachuted onto the scene, reports said.
The plane took off from Val D'Or and was bound for St. Honore, officials said.
There was no immediate report on the condition of the survivor and also no indication of what caused the twin turbo-prop plane to crash.
