JERUSALEM, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- A gag order was removed Monday from the indictment of three Israeli Arabs on terror-related charges involving the Muslim Brotherhood, documents show.
Mahmoud Arnaut, 30, Nasser Hadmi, 40, and Abed Abu al-Mafalfel, 41, were charged three weeks ago with membership in a terror group and affiliation with an illegal group, The Jerusalem Post reported.
Arnaut is alleged to have been a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, a group connected to Hamas, since 2006. He, Hadmi and al-Mafalfel are accused of raising money for the organization, aiding Muslim Brotherhood members and promoting anti-Israel propaganda, the Web news site Ynetnews reported.
Arnout allegedly transferred $50,000 to rent office space for the Brotherhood and was in the process of getting more money outside the country when he and his cell were arrested, Arutz Sheva reported.
The Jerusalem District Prosecution has asked the court to remand the suspects until the legal proceedings are concluded, Ynetnews said.
