WASHINGTON, Dec. 2 (UPI) -- Lebanese President Michel Sleiman will visit U.S. President Barack Obama Dec. 14, the White House said Wednesday.

"The president looks forward to consulting with President Sleiman on a broad range of issues of mutual concern," a statement issued by the press secretary said, "including efforts to strengthen the bilateral relationship between the United States and Lebanon, achieve a comprehensive regional peace, and implement relevant U.N. Security Council resolutions."
