At least 4 reported dead in Yemen clashes

The Post said the violence erupted when large numbers of protesters entered Ataq chanting anti-government and separatist slogans. Xinhua pegged the number of demonstrators at about 1,000.

Witnesses told Xinhua the demonstrators demanded freedom for those arrested in previous rallies.

Monday will mark the one-year anniversary of separatist protests that also turned violent.
