BELGRADE, Serbia, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Serbia has officially recognized Macedonia under its constitutional name and that position will not change, Serbian President Boris Tadić said.

Tadic made the statement Thursday after meeting with his Macedonian counterpart Gjorge Ivanov in Belgrade.

In a joint statement after the meeting, the two presidents repeated their mutual support for European Union integration, Beta said.

They also supported a Greek initiative that would have all Western Balkans countries become full-fledged members in 2014.
