Bus crash in Russia kills seven

MAKHACHKALA, Russia, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- A bus collided with a truck in the south Russian republic of Dagestan Saturday, killing seven people, local officials said.

An unidentified emergencies agency spokesman told RIA Novosti that among those killed in the crash on the Makhachkala-Sulak highway near the village of Lvovskoye were two children of unspecified ages.

The spokesman said 10 other people were hurt and were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

RIA Novosti said after the Ikarus bus and a Kamaz truck collided, the bus erupted into flames.
