Romania and Moldova sign accords

CHISINAU, Moldova, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Following years of tensions, Romania and the Republic of Moldova moved closer Friday with the signing of several bilateral agreements, officials say.

The accords, postponed for years by the ex-communist regime in Moldova, involve borders between the two countries and amend a 1992 intergovernmental agreement on securing investments, Romania Hot News reports.
