PARIS, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and French President Nicolas Sarkozy discussed cooperation in defense and energy, the Elysee Palace in Paris said Thursday.

The summit in Paris also included discussions on several intergovernmental consultations between Tusk and Sarkozy, as well as Polish and French ministries, Polish Radio reported.

France will be involved in Poland's construction of a nuclear power plant by 2020 and development of clean-coal technology, palace officials said.
