LONDON, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- The mother of a girl believed slain by her father in an "honor killing" demanded in a British court Wednesday that he reveal what happened to her.

Hahnium Goren, testifying in London's Old Bailey Court against her husband Mamet, confronted him by demanding to know the fate of their daughter, Tu lay Goren, 15, who disappeared in 1999 from her London home after allegedly dating a boy considered wrong by her father, the Daily Mail reported.

"Look at my face. What did you do to Tu lay?" Hahnium Goren reportedly yelled at Mamet Goren. "Say it so that I can ...," she said before being stopped by the trial judge.

Prosecutors allege Mamet Goren killed his daughter after hatching a conspiracy with his brothers, Cu ma and Ali, who have been charged alongside him.

Hahnium Goren, speaking to the jury through a Turkish interpreter, testified that after the schoolgirl's disappearance, her husband "attempted to beat me up a few times" for repeatedly confronting him about Tu lay.
