Casey Anthony won what the Orlando Sentinel dubbed a "small legal victory" in court on Tuesday, when a bankruptcy judge ruled that the 27-year-old was too "destitute" for defamation suits against her to proceed in state court.
Anthony's legal team wanted defamation lawsuits brought by Zenaida Gonzalez and Roy Kronk to be handled federally in U.S. Bankruptcy Judge K. Rodney May's court, so that he could decide whether the suits are dischargeable.
