Sept. 11 (UPI) -- A Utah high school teacher has been placed on leave after he had students take a quiz with personal questions about sex and drugs to determine if they are "indecent."
The "Know Thyself" quiz was given to students at Roy High School in Roy, Utah as part of a "Adult Roles and Financial Literacy" class, reported the Salt Lake Tribune. The questions range from "Have you ever been kissed?" and "Ever taken off most of your clothes while parking?" to "Even though you are straight, would you go kinky to see what it's like?"
Answering "yes" to any of the questions gave the test-taker a certain number of points, depending on the act. The fewer points one gets, the higher purity level.
Getting under 10 points means the student is a "nerd - just where you should be at your age."

Parents weren't pleased with the personal question quiz.
"I was just appalled," said Heather Miller, whose daughter took the quiz, reported Desert News. "You're asking people to basically incriminate themselves and turn this paper into you."
Miller also worried that other kids had taken the quiz were adversely affected by it.
"How many lives have been affected by telling teenagers they're hopelessly condemned or a nerd?" she said.
Weber School District spokesman Lane Findlay said the quiz "appears to be something that was an Ann Landers, Dear Abby-type of thing."
"We want to make sure it's not ever given to students in the future," he added. "Our apologies go out to the students and their families."
