March 30 (UPI) -- President Donald Trump welcomed Danish Prime Minister Lars Rasmussen to the White House Thursday, where the leaders discussed a range of issues.

The Danish PM is the latest foreign leader to visit Trump at his residence since he was inaugurated in January.

"We have a truly great relationship and we are working together on many fronts," Trump said.

The pair talked about immigration and trade during the meeting, as the United States is Denmark's largest non-European trade partner.

During their meet, Trump said his administration is "very close" to naming an ambassador to Denmark.
