Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Wells Fargo announced on Tuesday the bank fired four executives linked to the scandal that erupted there over millions of accounts that were opened without customers permission, but did not say why they had been terminated.
The four executives fired by Wells Fargo were former or current members of the bank's community banking division and were involved with motivating sales employees to open fake accounts central to the scandal embroiling the company since early last year.
