By UPI Staff

Feb. 21 (UPI) -- White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer answered questions about President Donald Trump's new immigration plans during a daily press briefing Tuesday, and defended Trump's attacks on the media saying he has "respect" for the press.

The Department of Homeland Security released a series of memos on Tuesday, outlining plans to enact President Trump's controversial orders, which were signed last month.

Spicer also addressed plans to allocate more resources to Immigration and Customs Enforcement, as well as Trump's plan to build a wall along the border of the United States and Mexico.
