SPARTANBURG, S.C., Nov. 7 (UPI) -- South Carolina officials said a second body has been found on the Spartanburg property of Todd Kohlhepp, a convicted sex offender accused of quadruple homicide and of chaining up a woman he allegedly kidnapped.

The unidentified body unearthed on Sunday was found in a wooded area of Kohlhepp's property. Officials said the search for remains will continue on Monday.

The body of Charles Carver, 32, was found on Friday. He was the boyfriend of Kala Brown, 30, who was found alive on Thursday by police investigating a sex crime tip. She was found chained by the neck and ankles inside a storage container -- having been there for two months.

Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright said officials are working to identify the remains found Sunday.

"We can't tell anything about the cause of death, gender or how long or any of that stuff," Wright said at a press conference.

Kohlhepp, 45, is charged with four deaths but is implicated in seven. He is charged in the 2003 deaths of Scott Ponder, 30, owner of Superbike Motorsports; Beverly Guy, Ponder's 52-year-old mother and part-time employee; and employees Brian Lucas, 29; and Chris Sherbert, 26.

Spartanburg County 7th Circuit Solicitor Barry Barnette said Kohlhepp will likely face more charges.

Kohlhepp has been licensed as a private pilot since 2006. He owned a property management business as a real estate broker in Greenville and Spartanburg. Officials were searching other properties linked to Kohlhepp, including some outside of South Carolina, Wright added.
