SANTA CRUZ, Calif., Sept. 29 (UPI) -- At least seven buildings, including a home, were destroyed in a wildfire that has claimed some 4,000 acres in the mountains near Santa Cruz, Calif.
The blaze, which is 22 percent contained, also damaged one single-family home. Firefighters said the blaze is burning in "steep inaccessible terrain covered in dry drought-stressed fuel," adding to the difficulty in dousing the flames.
