WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- The UPI/CVoter daily presidential tracking poll released Wednesday shows Hillary Cinton with more than a 1 percentage point-lead over Donald Trump.

The online poll shows Clinton with 47.95 percent, compared to Trump's 46.77 percent, a difference of 1.18 percentage points. Those responding with "others" were 5.28 percent. "Others" in the poll are defined as respondents who decline to pick either Clinton or Trump.

In one day, the race swung 1.34 percentage points after Trump had a 47.55 percent to 47.39 percent lead. And one day earlier, Clinton led by .04 percentage points.

Clinton has regained some momentum after Trump held a slim lead for 10 days, including when the Democratic nominee disclosed a pneumonia diagnosis and didn't have public appearances for three days.

The latest data is through Sunday, three days after Clinton returned to the campaign trail and two days after Trump said he believed President Barack Obama was born in the United States.

The UPI/CVoter online tracking poll surveys more than 200 people each day, leading to a sample size of at least 1,400 people during any seven-day span.

Because the poll is conducted online and individuals self-select to participate, a margin of error cannot be calculated. The poll has a credibility interval of 3 percentage points. This seven-day span includes data collected from Sept. 12 to 18, when 1,775 individuals were surveyed. Of them, 1,203 identified themselves as likely voters.
