WASHINGTON, Aug. 3 (UPI) -- Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's gains after the Democratic National Convention continue to consolidate, according to UPI/CVoter tracking data released Wednesday.

Nearing the first week since the end of the DNC, it appears Clinton may have offset Donald Trump's gains after the Republican National Convention -- with her support building after the first day of the DNC.

While the numbers have started to look fully polarized between the two major parties and their candidates; the downswing of Trump support is looking starker.

After a full-week cycle after the DNC, the tracking data should show how the numbers stabilize for both campaigns.
