Here is the menu for Friday's Nordic state dinner at the White House

On Friday, President Obama will host an elaborate State Dinner at the White House for five Nordic leaders. The prime ministers of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and the the president of Finland will attend.

White House Executive Chef Cristeta Comerford created a menu of Scandinavian delicacies and American favorites for the 12th official state visit of the Obama presidency.

Demi Lovato will perform for the honored guests.

White House Executive Pastry Chef Susan Morrison's also created a handcrafted fishing boat made of gum paste and chocolate surrounded by miniature pastries. The showpiece dessert is meant to celebrate the thriving fishing industry between the U.S. and Nordic countries.
