SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 2 (UPI) -- Three-time NFL Pro Bowler and Super Bowl winner Dana Stubblefield is facing charges he raped a disabled woman.

According to the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office, the woman Stubblefield is accused of raping is "developmentally delayed."

The alleged sexual assault occurred on the afternoon of April 9. After the woman visited the home of the ex-defensive lineman to be interviewed for a babysitting job, Stubblefield asked the 31-year-old victim to return so he could pay her for her time.

The woman says Stubblefield picked her up and took her to a couch and raped her, then gave her $80 before letting her go. She went straight to the Morgan Hill Police Department and reported the assault.

The victim stands 5 feet tall and weighs 105 pounds. The 45-year-old Stubblefield is 6-foot, 3 inches and weighs 310 pounds.

"This was a crime of violence against a vulnerable victim," Deputy District Attorney Tim McInerny said in a released statement. "She was looking for a job and she was unconscionably assaulted."

DNA recovered during a rape exam was successfully matched to Stubblefied, who is being held on $250,000 bond. He is facing five felony counts and, if convicted, could face a lengthy prison sentence.
