Police were called to a home Wednesday afternoon to check on someone. They found the person deceased in the home. The investigation led them to a nearby home, where an armed man was barricaded inside. A standoff began, involving the police SWAT team and several hours of negotiation. When they eventually entered the home they found five more dead bodies, including that of the suspect.

Investigators said they believe the victims were killed by the suspect prior to the arrival of the police.
