WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Florida Sen. Marco Rubio has been edged into fourth place in New Hampshire, according to a new poll that has Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz tied for second place for the GOP nomination for president. Donald Trump widened his lead in the early primary state, garnering 32 percent in a Monmouth University Poll released Monday.

Kasich and Cruz tie for a distant second place with 14 points apiece. Rubio has dropped from second place to fourth with 12 percent.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie made the largest gains, and sits in fifth place with 8 percent. That's up from 2 percent in September.
Carly Fiorina follows with 5 percent. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul are right behind her with 4 percent each.
Dr. Ben Carson, suffering a meteoric drop, is down to 3 percent from 17 percent in September. The bad news for Carson comes as the candidate reels from the loss of super PAC staffers in New Hampshire, as well as top campaign staff.
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee polls at 1 percent. Huckabee has vowed to drop out if he does not place in the top three in the Iowa caucuses Feb. 1.
Former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum are at 0 percent.
The poll was conducted Jan. 7-10 and surveyed 828 likely Republican and Independent voters in New Hampshire. The margin of error is +/- 4.8.
