COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 31 (UPI) -- Third-place Democratic presidential candidate Martin O'Malley did not get enough signatures to land his name on the ballot in Ohio.
The Ohio Secretary of State's Office told Politico Thursday that only 772 of the 1,175 signatures collected by O'Malley were deemed valid. The former Maryland governor needed 1,000 to get on the ballot for the March 15 primary.
