WASHINGTON, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Republican front-runner Donald Trump on Saturday criticized Bill and Hillary Clinton on social media as a feud involving accusations of sexism continues. The latest feud between Trump and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who is leading in the Democratic nomination for president, started last week at a campaign rally in Michigan where Trump said Clinton got "schlonged" when she lost to President Barack Obama in the 2008 campaign.

Clinton suggested Trump had a "penchant for sexism" in an interview about Trump's "schlonged" comment. On Saturday, Trump took to Twitter after Hillary Clinton announced that her husband and former President Bill Clinton will soon join the campaign trail in Iowa and New Hampshire.
"Hillary Clinton has announced that she is letting her husband out to campaign but HE'S DEMONSTRATED A PENCHANT FOR SEXISM, so inappropriate!" Trump wrote. "I will do far more for women than Hillary, and I will keep our country safe, something which she will not be able to do -- no strength/stamina!"
Hillary, when you complain about "a penchant for sexism," who are you referring to. I have great respect for women. BE CAREFUL!

Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 23, 2015Trump's accusation of sexism and Bill Clinton is thought to be a reference to the 1998 presidential sex scandal when then-President Clinton was impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives but was acquitted on all impeachment charges of perjury and obstruction of justice after a Senate trial.
