PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Police arrested a man Tuesday after Community College of Philadelphia was put on lockdown in response to reports of a gunman on campus.
About 10 a.m. a man reported he was threatened by another man with a gun in the Bonnell Building on the school's main campus. Police told everyone in the building and nearby to stay in place as officers sweep the area.
Before noon, an unidentified man, 17, was arrested at the school's business school building. It was not clear if he carried a weapon when he was arrested.
No shots were fired and there were no reports of injuries. A witness told police the suspect was wearing blue vest, red hoodie and grey sweatpants.
