WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 (UPI) -- A woman was arrested Friday night after she allegedly jumped a barricade in front of the White House.
Brian Leary, spokesman for the U.S. Secret Service, said the woman jumped the barricade, described as a "bike rack," on Pennsylvania Avenue about 7 p.m. She did not jump the fence or make it onto the White House grounds, authorities said. The barricades have been placed several feet in front of the fence.
