Families of hostages react to new Obama ransom policy

WASHINGTON, June 30 (UPI) -- Under a new Obama administration policy, families of hostages held overseas no longer will face prosecution for paying ransoms to bring home their loved ones.

But criminals and terrorists may target more Americans as a result, security experts say.

Family members meanwhile are likely to do whatever it takes to see their loved ones again.
