Jill Stein announces Green Party presidential run

WASHINGTON, June 23 (UPI) -- The Green Party's Jill Stein announced her candidacy for the 2016 presidential election. Stein used the opportunity to present her Power to the People plan, which emphasizes renewable energy, reduction of the military and nuclear weapons budget, and an end to institutional racism and police brutality.
