WASHINGTON, May 4 (UPI) -- One of the first things a potential presidential candidate should do is purchase all of their potential domain names.

Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina learned this lesson the hard way Monday. After Fiorina announced her candidacy for president of the United States in 2016, an anonymous person registered the domain CarlyFiorina.org and made it a page of 30,000 sad faces to represent the number of people laid off during her tenure as CEO.

It ends with a statement she made when asked what she would have done differently regarding layoffs: "I would have done them all faster."

This is not the first time a candidate has had one of their domain names used against their campaign. TedCruz.com now reads: "Support President Obama. Immigration Reform Now!"
