WASHINGTON, April 26 (UPI) -- Russian hackers were able to obtain some of President Obama's unclassified emails last year.

The emails were obtained during a breach of the White House's unclassified computer system, according to the New York Times. The classified servers and the president's Blackberry were not accessed.

The information hackers could have obtained from the unclassified emails might include schedules, diplomatic communications and policy discussions. The content and amount of emails accessed have not been released.

The Times claims the White House receives computer threats daily, but this attack was more sophisticated than others.
