WASHINGTON, April 20 (UPI) -- Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush will travel to Germany, Poland and Estonia in June in the hope of selling his foreign policy credentials to the American public.

The Republican is expected to seek the Republican nomination for president, though he has yet to officially announce his candidacy.

Bush's aide told the Tampa Bay Times on Monday that the Florida Republican will meet with European officials and leaders in business and policy.

Bush will meet with government officials, policy experts and business leaders to discuss economic and security challenges in the region.

The former governor, who left office in 2007, has led Republican attacks on President Barack Obama's approach to foreign policy.

"Everywhere you look, you see the world slipping out of control," Bush said in a February address to the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, where he criticized the administration's nuclear negotiations with Iran.
