About 11 a.m., Moua entered a pediatrician's office, where the victim worked and shot her several times before turning the gun on himself. There were several people in the office, including coworkers and patients.

"This a tragedy and we are grateful no one else was hurt or killed during this incident," Fresno police Deputy Chief Pat Farmer told the Los Angeles Times.

The woman was a mother to seven children, five of whom fathered by Moua. Police said they found a suicide note after searching his home.
