ANAHEIM, Calif., March 1 (UPI) -- A fire broke out near Disneyland's famed "It's A Small World" attraction Saturday at the Anaheim, Calif., theme park.

A Disneyland spokeswoman said the fire was first reported at 9:20 p.m., when a tree caught fire near the backstage area of the ride.

Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the flame and no one was injured. The ride was briefly shut down, then reopened.

Park officials plan to investigate the cause of the fire, which may have been caused by a nearby fireworks show.

"It's A Small World," which first opened at Disneyland in 1966, features a collection of animatronic dolls representing a range of world cultures.
