CHRISTIANBURG, Va., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- The Virginia State police are searching for 16-year-old Aysia Monique Lewis, who went missing after school Monday afternoon. Due to the suspected circumstances of her disappearance, authorities fear Lewis may be the victim of sexual exploitation.

Lewis was last seen Monday afternoon at Christiansburg High School and has not been heard from since. Friends say the 5-foot-three-inch-tall girl was wearing blue jeans, a black fleece jacket and tan moccasins.

Police believe Lewis may be in the company of 33-year-old Donald Quesenberry. Quesenberry is 5-foot-7 and weighs 195 pounds. The pair may be headed to Florida in Quesenberry's 2002 Nissan Altima with Illinois plates V975074. If Lewis is traveling with Quesenberry, it is believed her presence is voluntary.

"Aysia, we love you!" Lewis' parents said in a statement released by the Christiansburg police.

"We are worried about you! We need to know that you are OK! Please come home. Call us, text us, Facebook us. Get in touch with us however you can. We will come get you no matter what, no matter where, whatever time, it doesn't matter."

Lewis' parents also urged Quesenberry to end the search if he is involved by simply dropping off Lewis somewhere safe.
