SEAGOVILLE, Texas, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- A small, propeller aircraft crashed Thursday southeast of Dallas, killing the only occupant, the pilot.

The plane was discovered about an hour later, having crashed near a house in Seagoville, a suburb of Dallas. It may have clipped a residence on its way down.

A neighbor told inForney.com they heard the aircraft flying low before it crashed.

The pilot, whose name wasn't reported, was killed. He was the only occupant of the Bonanza. No injuries to people on the ground were reported.

The FAA, Dallas County Sheriff's Office and Mesquite Police Department were investigating the cause of the crash.
