WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- In the second firearm incident in two days, the Secret Service arrested a woman packing a handgun outside the White House.

The woman was identified as 23-year-old April Lenhart of Michigan. She was walking along the north fence line after President Obama finished his address on immigration when Secret Service agents noticed Lenhart had a holster on her hip, said officials. Inside was an unregistered 9 mm handgun, according to authorities.

Lenhart was charged with possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of unregistered ammunition and carrying a pistol without a license. She's not cooperating with investigators, and they don't know what her intentions were.

She was with an unarmed male companion who was questioned extensively and released.

On Wednesday, R.J. "Renae" Kapheim, 43, of Iowa was busted near the White House with a rifle and a knife in his car, according to charging documents. Kapheim claimed that the president had called him personally for an appointment, according to officials. He pleaded not guilty to illegally carrying a rifle.
