PORT ORCHARD, Wash., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Police in Washington are investigating a series of photos posted to online forum 4chan that show a woman's dead body. The photos appear to have been taken just before a relative discovered the victim's remains and contacted police.

Police believe woman was killed by 33-year-old David Kalac, who was spotted driving the victim's car when he escaped police pursuit by swerving into oncoming traffic and disappearing onto side roads before authorities could follow him.

He was arrested Wednesday night in Wilsonville, Ore., near Portland.

Police say Kalac strangled his girlfriend Amanda Lynn Coplin, a mother of 4. Detectives confirmed that the pictures posted online are of Coplin's lifeless body.

Along with the photos was a note detailing the suspected killer's intent to commit "suicide by cop" by baiting a police officer into fatally shooting him.

"Check the news for Port Orchard Washington in a few hours. Her son will be home from school soon. He'll find her, then call the cops. I just wanted to share the pics before they find me. I bought a BB gun that looks realistic enough. When they come, I'll pull it and it will be suicide by cop. I understand the doubts. Just check the [expletive] news. I have to lose my phone now."
