Authorities found the loaded Walther PPS 9mm handgun along with blue rubber gloves, his mother's black Calvin Klein purse and its contents, a video recorder, a computer monitor, lime green socks, house shoes, an iPad, an iPad mini, a money card, a Rolex wristwatch, prescription medication and an Apple computer.

On Oct. 9, Hruby, 19, drove his 2014 Jeep Wrangler to his family's home, shot John Hruby, 50, Joy "Tinker" Hruby, 48, and Katherine Hruby 17. The three were found by their housekeeper on Oct. 13.

Hruby confessed to killing his family after initially denying involvement. In his confession, he stated that he wanted to become the sole heir to his family's estate after they cut him off from his funds after his spending got out of control.

After killing his family, he stayed at the Ritz-Carlton in Dallas for the Oklahoma University game against the University of Texas. Friends said he sold his ticket and did not attend the game. Police are checking the phone and billing records from the hotel.
