TOMS RIVER, N.J., Oct. 23 (UPI) -- A New Jersey man was arrested on Monday when police caught him with heroin he was preparing to deal, some of which he had stamped "Ebola."

Barnabas "Hammer" Davis, 47, was the target of a search warrant at a Ramada Inn in Toms River, where investigators believed dealers were running a heroin distribution operation out of the back of the motel, police said Wednesday.

Davis was found in the possession of 633 wax folds of heroin and approximately 40 grams of crack cocaine. He had a variety of labeling stamps, including one marked "Ebola," police said.

Ramada Inn had no involvement with the criminal activity and cooperated fully, police said.

Davis faces charges of possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of crack cocaine and possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute. He remains in Ocean County Jail on $300,000 bail.

The arrest came the same day a passenger arrived at Newark Liberty Airport demonstrating possible symptoms of Ebola. Newark is one of five airports in the U.S. that allow passengers from West Africa beginning this week.
